Rose Quartz by Amy Truscott

These figures are made from clay using on my own body as reference during Lockdown as a way of to create a textural feeling of love and connecting to my body. As well as this, they encourage the feeling of loving touch. I want to physically create something honouring my body and the loving touch it deserves. I surrounded them with rose quartz crystals to emphasise these feelings of self-love and self-acceptance. The mediums used are terracotta clay, white rauku clay and rose quartz.
