Movement by Laetitia Bica

This first meeting between street artist Océane, anthropology student Aguineth, and visual artist Laetitia is based on a conversation about our mutations*.

We have different languages, and it's through our different points of view that we're able to imagine new possibilities for our representations of the body and nature.

We believe that it is important to continue to unite in intersectionality in order to develop a mutation* of representations of the ‘living’ that has only one constant: movement.

* mutation: reference to the ecofeminist Françoise d'Eubonne, who criticises the word ‘revolution’ and proposes the concept of ‘mutation’.

Océane Cornille | @oceane_cornille

Océane is a Street Artist and visual artist based in Belgium. The essence of her visual research is to underline the imperative of preserving the world’s beauty, richness and diversity. The plant as the lungs of each work weaves the various links of the living universe, bodies in motion explore life in its various states: adaptation, diversity and evolution.

Aguineth Andrade | @aguineth.andrade

Aguineth takes an intersectional view of anthropology and tries to do it in a multi-disciplinary way.

Laetitia Bica | @laetitiabica

Laetitia is a contemporary artist who places research at the heart of her work. Her artistic work interweaves the different areas in which she evolves as a professional photographer, integrated into the world of publishing, fashion and videoclips, as well as theater and dance. For Bica, the photographic image should establish a dialogue with the viewer, but above all it should be the trace of a collaboration between photographer and model. Conceived as a discussion between several actors, Bica's work can be seen as a bridge between several artistic practices, bringing photography closer to performance art.
